Dolly Varden
According to The Roanoke Times in 1956, Dolly Varden was an aerialist and equestrienne, once called the goddess of the tan bark trail, and a hoarder of jewels. By using traditional woodblock printing techniques, the image feels precious and ethereal, a depiction of a muse from another realm.
