東海道五十三次は江戸時代の五街道のひとつ、日本橋から京都へ至る東海道53カ所の宿場と、始点・終点を含めた全55箇所の景色を描いた、歌川広重の代表作です。雪の日の夜を描いた「蒲原」や、山中の夕立を描いた「庄野」など、風景画の傑作を始め、様々な天候、季節や時間を情緒豊かに描いた風景の数々は、江戸時代を旅している気分になります。
