We are pleased to inform you that the November issue of Bungeishunjyu, released Oct 10, features a cover story about the production process of ukiyo-e, as well as our efforts in preserving these techniques and training new artisans. The article highlights three carvers and five printers who are actively engaged in the craft. Many of them began their journey as trainees of the Foundation, and after years of training, they now play key roles as young artisans dedicated to passing on these traditional techniques. We hope this article gives you a glimpse into their sincere commitment to preserving this valuable heritage.
