World-renowned contemporary artists Antony Gormley and Kiki Smith have created original woodcut prints in collaboration with the carvers and printers of The Adachi Institute of Woodcut Prints. Drawing on traditional techniques passed down since the Edo period, the project explores new possibilities for woodcut expression beyond the conventional boundaries of the medium.
These works were first presented in 2025 at the exhibition Ukiyo-e in Play, held at the Hyokeikan, Tokyo National Museum, where they attracted significant attention.

We are pleased to announce a lottery sale of these original woodcut prints by the two artists.

Adachi showroom is closed during golden week vacation period

Adachi's showroom and office will be closed during the holidays (April 27 through April 29, 2025 and May 3 through May 6, 2025). We will not be able to ship the orders during this period. You can still shop on our website. However, the shipment of the order will be resumed after May 8, 2025.

◎Domestic shipment around holidays
If you would like to have a domestic shipment delivered between May 3, 2025, - May 8, 2025, please make sure to place an order before April 29, 2025.

Please note that orders made after April 29, 2025, will be shipped after May 8, 2025.
