Yusuke Hanai "Untitled 2"
The works of Yusuke Hanai are created in a unique style that fuses Japanese aesthetics with American retro illustrations.
This work, "Untitled 2" reminds us of Mr. Hanai's phrase "Trash thrown away in the city eventually collects in the ocean." His style of the work being cynical yet humorous, works perfectly well with the warm texture of woodcut print to produce this new work.

Illustrator / Artist
Around 2006, Hanai started showing his works at The Surf Gallery, CA. The following year, Hanai participated in a group show called “THE HAPPENING.” Since then, he has been showing his works in New York, Sydney, Tokyo, London and Paris.
As an illustrator, Hanai provides art works to brands such as VANS, NIXON and BEAMS. He is actively involved in many projects both in and outside of Japan.
