鳥文斎栄之の門人、一楽亭栄水の美人画大首絵。上からつるした花桶に菊花を生ける遊女の姿を描いた本図は、雲母摺（きらずり）をほどこした背景に菊の花と簪の黄色、花桶や着物の赤といった、華やかな色遣いが映えています。師である栄之とは系統の異なる歌麿の美人画に近い、生き生きとした美人像となっています。
