靉嘔 Ay-O（1931-）
1931年茨城生まれ。1958年に渡米し「フルクサス」に参加。光のスペクトルを用いた作品で「虹の芸術家」として知られる。1966年ヴェネツィア・ビエンナーレ日本代表。1971年サンパウロ・ビエンナーレ日本代表。主な個展に「靉嘔 ふたたび虹のかなたに」（東京都現代美術館ほか、2012年）、「AyŌ’sHappy Rainbow Hell」（スミソニアン国立アジア美術館、2023年）。主なグループ展に「In the Spirit of Fluxus」（ウォーカーアートセンターほか、1993年）。作品収蔵先にニューヨーク近代美術館、大英博物館など。
